My work represents an observed but re-imagined landscape where the underlying structure of nature has been rearranged to create a place in motion. The shapes and forms are anchors to an expansive or compressed spatial plane that extends space beyond the surface of the canvas. The color, line and gesture are the picture's activating forces.
